May 30, 2008. I'd like to congratulate the 8th grade class of Hope School here in St. Louis on their Graduation. My son Andy is in that class, so I am especially proud. These kids work very hard taking classes like theology, physics, Latin and High School level Algebra. Blows me away. I have a relatively recent diploma in Nursing and went to college when I was just out of high school. I went back for several years working towards a teaching degree in high school Math. Even with all that college exposure these kids at this school were taking things that I had to wait till College to just hear about. I think you kids are going to do great things.3/29/08 Well those Trojans were a lot worse that I expected so I am adding some tools to my spyware page a separate page all about the nasty buggers and where you can find help and more information to keep your computer clean

I spent the weekend fighting a bunch of really nasty trojans and adware off my my computer. Apparently I got infected looking for free games for you all. And my Java program was way out dated. Didn't know that could cause a problem. You learn something new every day.
The last thing the forum experts said to do was do an online scan at Kaspersky. Aparently it is one of the best malware and virus programs there is. I don't know how much it costs but I downloaded the 30 day trial to use for a week to make sure the bad guys are all gone.
They were trojans that also download other trojans, so they are a bugger to get rid of. The main bad guy was called virtumonde.dll. Just thought I'd let you all know.
I am way behind now so, when I get caught up, ( Yeah right) I'll try to write about the mess on the computer section
3/5/08 This weekend is the start of daylight savings time yawn I am torn between which I like better. In the fall, we get more sleep and it's a bit easier for me to wake up, but in the spring (if you can call this spring we got 8 inches of snow yesterday) it's lighter at night and the sun is in a better position for driving in the morning. But that's me.
Last fall I wrote a page all about the subject. There are quite a few people that claim it no longer does what it was created to do. It was supposed to save energy. Presumably people would leave their lights off longer if the day was longer or started earlier. But most offices turn their lights on first thing in the morning and don't turn them off at all or turn them off 8-10 hours later regardless of the amount of sun shine out side. I keep the sun out of my computer and TV rooms due to glare. And in our town baseball and softball games are very popular so fields are scheduled really late. This requires the lights come on anyway.

2/19/08 Ok I was wrong. The numbers section is messed up., Fixing it today. I spent a lot of time making the ball and wall at the bottom of this page all by my little bity self.
2/12/08 Well I think it's ready. I am still checking all the links, but I think most of them are pointing in the right direction. Although some people say I think too much. If you find a broken link and let me know about it, I'll send you a Bouncing off the Wall screensaver. Hey I made them so I think they are pretty cool.
New today is a valentine's Page with a couple of Puzzles and a free screensaver. Check it out The categories to come are on the left. There is something on each section., and the games will be up today if I have to stay up till midnight
I kept up my own useful links on the right, because that's how I get to my mail, and I keep sending people to the spyware page to keep their computers safe
